Sidd Sampla
Founder & Performance Psychologist
With over a decade of experience in elite sport environments, I have dedicated my career to helping athletes achieve their best selves both on and off the field. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that happy and well-supported individuals tend to be high-performing athletes.
My approach is straightforward and uncompromising. I prioritise treating the performer as a whole person first, moving past surface-level performance data to understand the individual behind the results. Like the clients I support, I am driven by a relentless pursuit of growth, a love for sport, and a commitment to exploring the true psychological edge.
Alongside my work in elite sport, my approach is uniquely shaped by over 13 years of dedicated experience within the charity sector. During this time, I specialised in creating autistic-affirming support and neuro-inclusive environments to empower autistic children and adults to navigate complex environments and thrive on their own terms.
Why I Founded Mindful Performance
I established this consultancy because I recognised a critical gap in traditional athletic development. Too often, the concept of "mental toughness" is conflated with "mental silence"—forcing performers to suppress their internal environment, which ultimately breaks their execution under high-pressure scenarios.
I wanted to create a dedicated space where elite performance psychology intersects with genuine human empathy. I believe that by cultivating a robust, resilient internal environment, the external competitive results follow naturally.
The name Mindful Performance reflects the precise blend of sport science and execution. Performance is not solely about "doing"; it is about being present enough to allow your physical training to shine through automatically. By integrating mindfulness with contemporary sports science, I assist athletes in developing the clarity to Master the Moment and the composure to remain locked onto the process, regardless of the pressure.

"Do the right thing. It’s that simple. Do the right thing when the right thing is not popular. Do the right thing when no one else is around. Do the right thing when temptation tells you otherwise. Do the right thing all the time." ― Nick Saban

Our performance conditioning system develops high-level psychological flexibility to drive sustainable athletic readiness. Inspired by elite high-performance models, where success is built from an aligned sense of identity and purpose—everything we do centres on The Mindful Core.
Prioritising the human behind the athlete to build a resilient foundation. Care is the heartbeat of sustainable performance, it’s how we relate to ourselves, others, and the environments we inhabit.
The lens through which purpose becomes visible. It is the deliberate process of identifying, refining, and committing to what truly matters.
Not the absence of fear, but the decision to move forward with it. It is developing the willingness to step forward, commit, and execute critical skills when pressure peaks.
The embodiment of mindfulness in motion—the ability to stay centred, responsive, and emotionally regulated even in high-stakes moments.

We champion a holistic, values-driven path that proves athletic excellence and human well-being exist in perfect harmony.
To ground this approach in your training, The Mindful Core framework integrates two globally recognised, evidence-based psychological protocols:
